(Not linking this to the front page yet. I'll keep the bonus story commentary link as the top post until we're closer. If I feel like it, I'll like the front page graphic here soon. For now, getting info down to make into a pretty post later.)
For the third year in a row, I'll be at the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, MD, on September 19th and 20th, with the SpiderForest Collective table at L8-9. DC area people, this is an AMAZING show to visit. If you love comics - especially indie comics - you'll have access to a wide mix of cartoonists, from the biggest names to... uh, me! As a bonus, the entrance cost is a REALLY low $10/$15/$20 depending on which day (or both)! If you're within driving distance of a Metro stop (if Metro-ing, it's at the White Flint station) you really need to make it there! There's plenty at SPX to love even if I'm not there, so go!
Speaking of me being there... because I'm sharing space will my SpiderForest peeps, and I remain in an extended bad stretch of my chronic illness stuff, I'll be in and out. I don't know what my schedule will be yet, or my functional ability. I may be still recovering and uneven from an procedure I'm getting 10 days before the show, it may have worked and made me much better, or I might be so broken I only show up to drop off my supplies. My goal is to drop off pre-sketched books, and maybe some sketched cards, just in case, so people coming by can get something unique even if I'm not at the table. I'll do my best to keep my location updated on Twitter that weekend.
OH, I might sneak over to hang with Spacemouse, of Alastere. at his table at I3 when the SpiderForest table is full and I'm still alive.
